My Story

Hello friend,

First, thank you for being here. It truly means so much to me. Many of you have heard me talk about midlife and the unique experiences we share as women navigating this stage. We have more in common than we sometimes realize, and I'm excited to begin deeper conversations about everything that comes with this season of life.

After several months of study and many dedicated hours of learning, I'm proud to share that I've earned my Menopause Coaching Specialist Certification through Girls Gone Strong. My journey into this work began with my own experience navigating peri- and post-menopause. Like many of you, I wanted clearer answers and better support.

My education has led me to rebuild my exercise routine with a better balance of hot yoga and/or hot Pilates, plus gym time and heavy lifting a few times per week. I also schedule one or two rest days each week (I never did that before!). I've overhauled my nutrition to include protein at every meal, and I discovered that skipping meals or tightly restricting calories can actually damage our metabolism and hormones.

In recent years, the medical and scientific communities have provided more accurate and empowering information about menopause. Still, many of us find that we must advocate for ourselves to get up-to-date guidance on nutrition, exercise, and treatment options for women over 45. My goal is to help bridge that gap and make this information more accessible and approachable.

While I can't say exactly how this space will evolve, I do know this: you're here because you're curious, open, and ready to embrace this next chapter. I'm honored to grow alongside you. I'll be sharing insights on exercise, nutrition, lifestyle, and overall wellness, with a special focus on peri- and post-menopause.

Some of the books and podcasts that have inspired and educated me along the way:

If you ever want to connect, please email, text, or grab me at yoga or the gym. I would genuinely love to hear your thoughts, questions, and concerns. I may not always have the answer, but I feel confident I can help guide you toward one.

Here's to embracing midlife with strength, knowledge, and confidence. Cheers to this next chapter,

Julie
